Administration

The Sufficiency Test can be taken at any regular exam session (February-March, mid-term, etc.) Students can only take two exams per session.

Subject Pathway

Students should take Sufficiency in English before attending Vegetable Production. However, we suggest doing it during their second year at the School, when they are already familiar with the terminology.

Teaching Material

The English Department has printed a number of workbooks which can be bought at CEABA. Besides tutorial hours during term, Faculty is available for advice during set hours.

Grades

The test is graded Pass or Fail. In order to obtain a Pass grade, 70% of answers should be correct.

Attendance

Students working on a tutorial basis should comply with a 75% attendance requirement. They should pass English about the end of the first cycle. This requires two exams. Number of hours: 32.

Out students

Students who are already proficient in English have the option to be exempted from attendance. They should contact the Secretariat for information about their options. They should pass a Reading Comprehension test on scientific papers.

Masters Degree Exams
