Research Institute of Agricultural and Environmental Biosciences – INBA
The origin of the organization dates back to 1995 and the institute itself was founded in November 1999 under the designation ‘Institute of Biochemical and Physiological Research’ (IBYF). Recently, the institute changed its name to ‘Research Institute of Agricultural and Environmental Biosciences’, with the acronym INBA.
The objectives of the Institute are to carry out research on agriculture and environment in the areas of microbiology, biochemistry, molecular biology and plant nutrition. The Institute is also currently committed to addressing anew goal: to expand its activities in applied science and extension.
The current Director of INBA is Professor Raul S. Lavado.
